In the autoexpress magazine it states that lotus are planning to release a compact, efficient city car by 2015. Lotus claim it will boast more performance than any other potential rival. To me, the vehicle images ooze class, dynamism and composure yet still expresses a conceptual, rather futuristic character. It seems a great avatar for the youthful show-off (admittedly myself sometimes) who has a thick wallet (quite the contrary to myself) - guess I will have to wait a few years?
I am in awe with lotus's design direction and realisation this year. Future models being released 5-10 years in advance is a powerful statement, and judging by the narrow, slanted lights, sporty aesthetics and clear brand identity, I predict huge success for Lotus in a few years. Comment on what you think?
