SPY SHOTS!

Autoexpress have released two clear images which represent two of the BMW i series concepts; the i3 and i8. These two vehicles represent the 'electric' brand movement. Firstly, I think the i8 is the most interesting of the two. The form language seems almost completely different to any BMW other than the hood-line. With circular lights and square edges I think that this could be a series with a strong identity. The main focus should surely be on the integration of the brand and it's identity. The  front side view of the i3  reflects similar characteristics to the VW Bulli concept with a strong brow line and linear, short aesthetics. These are good to see. I think that the most important marketing tool involving electrically powered objects is the nature of electricity itself. We are often awed by the strength, power and effects of lightning and electrical magnetism so why cant we transfer this to a vehicle? Hopefully BMW have caught on and this will be a huge success.
